We run this course for workplaces with minimum of ten (10) people, on dates that suit youDo you work in the weed control, mango, vegetable, landscape or cattle industry? Do you use chemicals such as herbicides, or insecticides or 1080? If your answer is yes then this course is for you. This two (2) day course is referred to as ‘AusChem’ and is valid for 5 years.
The "AusChem" has a five (5) year life and is a requirement for the following licenses and authorisations from NT Government:
- Schedule 7 Chemical Authorisation
- Professional Ground Spray License
- 1080 Authorisation

About the course
The AusChem course runs for two (2) days with elements of both theory and practical. You need to be able to read and have high school level of mathematical skills to complete this course. Over this two (2) day course you’ll develop a complete understanding of how to safely handle and use chemicals. We cover everything in a helpful and informative training style that will get you up to speed.
" The training was successful as there was a Vietnamese translator that help closed the gap of having a language barrier. This allowed a better understanding of the regulations and risk of using chemicals.
