Train Safe NT is proud to provide this course to the defence industry and they require the training to be of the highest quality and Nationally recognised.  This course will provide you and your staff with the skills to get their vehicle out of a "bogged" or "stuck" situation, this is a must for workers driving a four wheel drive in the Northern Territory.  Our trainers are experienced in both Top End and Central Australian remote driving conditions.  Safe accredited training that will set you and your employees up with the skills needed for remote bush roads.  You bring your 4WD vehicle and you can have up to four (4) people per vehicle.

About the course

This one (1) day course will prepare you for the recovery of 4X4 vehicles that are bogged or stuck in sand or mud.

Learn key skills in vehicle recovery that will help you get you car out of the mud in the safest way.  Our Nationally Recognised one (1) day course is 90% practical and 10% theory.  You bring your 4WD vehicle and you can have up to four (4) people per vehicle, you will get your car bogged and learn to recover it, don't worry it will not get flooded we will avoid deep water holes.

Participants must bring the following:

  • 4WD vehicle
  • Water bottle
  • Sun hat or sunscreen
  • Long sleeve shirt
  • Drivers license
  • You must wear shoes or boots (not crocs or sandals)

We have an electric winch mounted to the wall in the training room to help demonstrate the engineering and installation.  Watch video.
