Train Safe NT wins Award!

Off and running, we wish you a fantastic 2015. We are looking forward to another exciting year. 2014 ended with a bang by winning the Highly Commended Small Business Initiative in NRM (Natural Resource Management) Award.

 Before we say goodbye to 2014, a highlight for us was the NRM Conference in November. WOW, what an inspiring gig that was, showcasing some really informative and inspiring work across the NT. Train Safe was humbled and proud to receive the Highly Commended Small Business Initiative in NRM Award. We would particularly like to thank the Vietnamese Vegetable Growers, Lan Dang, Vegetable Grower and Interpreter and Paddi Flannery, Woolworths Sales with who we share this Award. We look forward to working with you all in 2015.

The Award recognises our work to make mainstream training methods meet the needs of the Vietnamese fruit and vegetable industry through addressing language and literacy barriers. The training aims to make chemical use safer for the grower and the consumer. To encourage correct herbicide use that decreases cost for farmers and helps maintain healthy insect populations.
