Recovery winch exposed

To train people on how a four wheel drive electric recovery winch works we needed to demonstrate the use of electric winch.  The gears are very low so the speed of the drum is slow but thats how the strength of pull is generated to make it strong enough to pull bogged vehicles out of the mud.  Watch the video only 40 seconds you will learn something.

Best learning experience, see how a electric winch from a 4WD vehicle works, we have bolted onto the wall so you can see the wireing and the gears. It runs pretty slow so it can pull 4 ton vehicles out of the mud.
