Highlift Jack Kicks Back Massive

Highlift jack watch out, watch video only 45 seconds.  To make it safer never put your body or head over the bar as the potential power in the bar is huge and can flip back and knock you out.

The high lift jack has the ability to lift 1600kg thats more than one and a half ton so there is allot of weight sitting on the jack, if this jack shifts or moves the vehicle can slide sideways and the 4WD car hits the ground. To make it safer never put your body or head over the bar as the potential power in the bar is huge and can flip back and knock you out.  The great advantage of the highlift jack is that it does not need electricity so you do not need a recovery vehicle or car battery with full charge.  You can carry it into mud and wet areas that a recovery vehicle may not get into.  Learn more about 4X4 recovery course

One of the disadvantages is its pretty heavy and you can only use it only on "points" that are designed for high lift jack, these are usually on the bull bar.  If you were to use on other parts of the car it would bend the car and not lift it.  Once the jack has lifted the bogged vehicle you can put somethoing under the bogged wheel to help get traction, but be very carfull.  Never put a limb or hand under a tyre or wheel and never climb under the car whilst its held up by the high lift jack, if the jack fails the weight of the car will crush you.  I have been driving 4WD vehicles in remote parts of the Northern Territory for over twenty (20) years, enjoy the bush but remeber if you have an accident you are in the bush.  The nearest "help" can be days away. Learn more about 4WD training
