Train Safe NT is a finalist for the AANT Road Safety Awards 2021.
Train Safe NT was presented as a Finalist in the AANT Road Safety Award by Edon Bell, Senior Manager Retail & Operations, AANT at the 2021 Northern Territory Community Achievement Awards Presentation ceremony held at the Doubletree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin on Friday 22nd October. The Awards were hosted by Sarah Passalick, Breakfast Presenter for Mix 104.9 and more than 230 guests gathered from across the Territory to celebrate the territories high achievers.
Train Safe NT focuses on training people for unsealed roads and related hazards of high-speed driving on dirt roads by delivering nationally accredited training in vehicle recovery, side by side and tractors, four-wheel (4x4) drive operation and recovery, plus more. They also conduct assessment and offer formal recognition of skills. They run 150 courses annually in 65 different Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Earlier in the week we received some amazing news, we’ve been selected as a Semi Finalist in the 2021 Community Achievement Awards!
