Chemical Accreditation Training

$599 per person (minimum seven (7) people)

Do you work in the mango, vegetable, horticulture, landscape or cattle industry?  Do you use chemicals like herbicides, insecticides, fungicides or 1080?  If your answer is yes then this course is for you.  This two (2) day course is referred to as ‘AusChem’ and is valid for 5 years.  The re-fresher course is one (1) day and the applicant must of completed level 3 chemical units within six (6) years.

'AusChem' is a requirement for the following licenses from NT Government:

Professional Ground Spray License

1080 Authorisation

Chemical Accreditation Training

About the course

The AusChem course runs for two (2) days with elements of both theory and practical.  You need to be able to read and have high school level of mathematical skills to complete this course.

Train Safe NT can come to you. Train Safe NT travels around the Top End and Central Australia doing training on remote cattle stations and communities.  Best results are achieved by completing training in the work place. The maximum training group is 13 people.  Units of Competencies are: AHCCHM303 - Prepare and apply chemicals and AHCCHM304 - Transport, handle and store chemicals.
